Tour Description
Step into the beating heart of London, a city steeped in stories hidden by the bustle of modern life. Walk the same paths as monarchs and ministers as your expert reveals the city’s untold stories.

Start at the historic Parliament Square surrounded by magnificent architecture and a bustling London atmosphere. Here, your expert, deeply versed in London's history, begins weaving tales that bring the stones and statues to life. Feel the narrative of London unfold as you move from Sir Winston Churchill to the serene pathways of St. James Park in front of St. James Palace, the predecessor of Buckingham Palace.

If time allows, stop by Horse Guards Parade, home to a multitude of royal ceremonies and rituals including the famous 'Trooping of the Colour.’

A short tube ride initiates you as a true Londoner. Don’t worry, your expert will help you navigate the London Underground. Be whisked underneath the city towards the 'City of London' in the east, where the Tower of London presides over a modern metropolis.

The remnants of the Roman 'London Wall' and the narrow alleys, secret gardens, and abundance of Baroque churches that make up this extraordinary district will transport you through several millennia-worth of history, culminating with an exterior view of the spectacular St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Don't just visit London; experience it with a local who knows it best. Immerse yourself in a narrative that spans centuries and discover a London that most tourists rarely see, returning home with stories of the true spirit of the city.

We understand that some of our valued guests may have mobility concerns, and we want to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout your tour. If there are any accessibility concerns that your tour guide will need to be aware of, please let our team know at the time of booking.

Is this tour wheelchair-friendly?

This tour covers a lot of ground in order to view so many of the major sites in the East and the West of the city. It is a fast-paced tour and so best suited to those who are ready and able to do a lot of walking. It includes quite a few narrow alleys and cobbled streets, so is not the most suitable tour for wheelchair users. Please contact us for alternative suggestions.

The route can be adapted for clients who are less able to walk long distances, but this may involve missing some of the sites. We would advise booking a private tour if this applies to you.

Had a great tour and unexpectedly got to see the Royal motorcade.
Jonathan was knowledgeable, and most pleasant. His sense of humour was great. As well as the amazing information he provided, he capably answered many questions from us. Paul, Canada
Having Sarah as our London guide was like having a friend take us around — so personable and so knowledgeable. She quickly developed a rapport with us and was almost instinctively able to tailor the tour to our interests.
