Brad is a historian from the U.S. who received his Ph.D. from Tulane University in New Orleans. He teaches undergraduate courses on European and Mediterranean history and his research focuses on renaissance cultural history, particularly science, religion, and literature in the Spanish Habsburg Empire. His research first brought him to Madrid in 2011 and, after falling in love with the city, he became a full-time resident.
