Samantha is a native Chicagoan and practicing artist who studied painting and film at The School of The Art Institute amongst the Museum collections. Following a lifelong passion for both local history and fine arts, she has designed and lead neighborhood tours, collaborated on living history events, and lectured with a public history non-profit for seven years before coming to work in the museum. By placing the collection in the context of local and world historical events she offers immersive and personalized insights to its unique cultural impact.
